Educational Outreach

In addition to our large scale school fundraising program, People Helping One Another offers schools with a smaller outreach program that still enables students to demonstrate their support for those within the community who are in need.  For elementary school students, PHOA sponsors a “Cars for a Cause” and “Dogs for Donations” fundraising program.  For every dollar that a student donates to PHOA, he or she receives a card with a car or a dog featured on it.  The student is asked to decorate the card and write his or her name on it and the teacher then hangs the card on display for the entire school to view.   For those schools who wish to incorporate a competition amongst classrooms, the classroom with the most money donated wins a free pizza party.  Click here to request more information about how your school can participate in our fund raising programs.
